Research Assistant Position in Psychology
This position is temporary full time and wholly grant funded.
Successful candidate will be responsible for:recruiting participants from five Children's Mental Health
Centres in London, Sarnia and Toronto; assisting with implementation of research study protocol including creating participant lists, telephone follow-up, assembling packaging, and data collection and entry; and, assisting with document production including drafts of documents (such as ethics forms, manuscripts, abstracts, reports), and assisting by editing slides/files for conference presentations and posters. Postdoctoral Position in Epigenetics
Successful candidates will join the EpiGenWestern team based within the Children’s Health Research Institute and affiliated with the University of Western Ontario. EpiGenWestern is a dynamic, collaborative research team that aims to understand the contribution of epigenetics and chromatin remodeling to fundamental molecular mechanisms involved in development, childhood diseases, and cancer.
I am looking for a dynamic and highly motivated postdoctoral fellow for a funded position. The candidate will be responsible for the identification and evolutionary comparison of imprinting centres. Applicants must have a Ph.D., and less than three years of postdoctoral experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, developmental biology, bioinformatics or a related field. Advanced knowledge of chromatin, epigenetics, and bioinformatics is highly desirable. Qualified candidates must also have a record of scientific achievements as evidenced by first author publications in well-recognized, peer-reviewed journals. Whaley Post Doctoral Fellowship in Maternal/Fetal/Neonatal Research
The position is available immediately.
The research will explore the role of in utero oxidative stress upon fetal cardiac development and postnatal dietary manipulations upon later life disease. Cell based and animal system models will be utilized. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow, MD and/or PhD with previous track record of research in the maternal and newborn health area. This is a oneyear fulltime contract position with a potential for renewal for a second year.
