Information for CHRI Trainees

CHRI is dedicated to the advancement of understanding of the causes, cures and long-term effects of children’s diseases and disabilities. The provision of training to tomorrow’s scientific leaders is an essential component of our mission.

CHRI in partnership with the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, The University of Western Ontario, and Lawson Health Research Institute offer training opportunities for postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students in medicine and summer students. Trainees at CHRI have the opportunity of working with internationally recognized Scientists in state-of-the-art facilities with access to leading-edge technology. Research at CHRI is highly collaborative involving biomedical scientists, clinicians and population health researchers. The ongoing collaboration between different disciplines enables our trainees to develop a stronger understanding of the relevance and impact of research on child health.
